Since 2018, the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) has carried out social protection programs specifically targeted at persons with disabilities to guarantee and provide access rights to facilities for persons with disabilities.This program is expected to be able to improve the welfare of persons with disabilities in Indonesia which includes social, health, education and employment. Apart from that, it is also to map and identify other potentials to improve better and equal services for persons with disabilities in all regions of Indonesia.With the hope of being able to help persons with disabilities become more independent, the Kiad application (Accessibility Information Collection for Persons with Disabilities) presents features that can provide information regarding public facilities for persons with disabilities.This application is also expected to help government programs in improving disability welfare by providing social, education, employment and health services in Indonesia.With the Kiad application, persons with disabilities can find special facilities for persons with disabilities around them and Kiad will provide directions for the location of these facilities.Based on the results of a survey that has been conducted, there is no application like Kiad yet. Google Map can be used to provide information around. However, there is no detailed information regarding public facilities for people with disabilities.Thus, Kiad can be used as an alternative to help persons with disabilities find public facilities that suit their needs.
